The P5 is a hand-held instrument with an electronic system to detect the presence of lightning/thunderstorm activity occurring within 40 miles of your location.
Early Warning System
EWS detects the characteristic electromagnetic emissions from individual lightning strokes and uses patented technology to determine the distance to the detected stroke.
ThunderBolt
The Thunderbolt U1 Storm detects lightning up to 130 miles away and offers over 50 alerts about storm conditions, including lightning distance and speed.
